     It's a pleasure to welcome you to our web page. For over 70 years, Garkane has provided quality electrical service to South Central Utah and Northern Arizona. We have more than 12,500 member-consumers spread over 16,000 square miles of some of the most spectacular country on earth.   Garkane  Energy is quietly celebrating its 73rd year of incorporation and its 72nd year of operation, since being incorporated in July, 1938, with the first lines energized in December 1939.

     We hold the distinction of serving more National Parks and Monuments than any electric utility in the country. But Garkane isn't just about electricity. It's about improving the quality of life for our member-consumers.

  Electricity powers many of the things that make our lives comfortable and enjoyable, and we're diversifying into other products with that same goal in mind.
