Garkane Energy Cooperative, Inc. is pleased to offer three scholarship programs to assist youth and adults in pursuing their higher education goals. We have added additional scholarship opportunities for Garkane Propane customers. If you have a Propane account with Garkane your student can apply for both the Propane and Electric scholarship and have a chance of winning two scholarships.
High School Senior Scholarships - Click Here provides up to 22) $1,500 scholarship awards. The scholarship awards will go to two outstanding applicants in each of Garkane's 11 service districts. Online application - click here
The Non-Traditional Student Scholarship - Click Here provides 2) $1,500 scholarship awards. The non-traditional scholarship is for students entering their sophomore year of college or be over the age of 25 and may need additional help in funding their education.
Propane Senior Scholarships - Provides up to 22) $1,000 scholarship awards. The scholarship awards will go to two outstanding applicants in each of Garkane's 11 service districts. Parents must be a Propane customer to be eligible.
